Dr. Danny Sinquefield, Pastor

dannys@myfaithbaptist.org

I came to serve as the first full-time pastor of Faith in 1994. What an incredible journey it has been for our family! In just a few short years, God has transformed this young church into one of the most dynamic, Kingdom-driven churches in the nation. The story of Faith is still being written, but the early chapters have been exciting to say the least. I am grateful for the willingness of our church to stretch beyond their abilities and trust the Lord. One of the truly great characteristics of our members is their unselfish desire to reach people for Christ in creative ways. That is the heartbeat of Faith. In fact, we have embraced the very heartbeat of heaven. Our people are in love with Jesus and they love what He loves! I think that is the real story of why the hand of God is upon this church.

The Lord called my family and me to Faith in 1998, after serving churches in Alabama and Georgia. It has been the most refreshing journey of our Christian lives. The Faith Family is committed to the expansion of God's Kingdom both in Bartlett and around the world making Faith an incredible place to serve. My wife, Melody and I have three wonderful children, two girls and a boy. terrye@myfaithbaptist.org

The Lord called me and my family to Faith in 2004. My wife Konnie and I have been married 27 years and have two boys Jeremy (24) and Jacob (22). Our journey at Faith has been one of the greatest experiences of our Christian lives. “The Mission of Faith is to glorify God through passionate worship, personal evangelism, purposeful discipleship, practical ministry and participation in missions.” Through the Ministry of Music, I have the wonderful privilege to lead our church family to glorify God through passionate worship. I believe I serve with the greatest Senior Pastor and Ministerial Staff God has ever put together. These men love God supremely and serve the Lord with an attitude of gratitude. I never dreamed serving Jesus could be so rewarding and fun. If you are searching for a church to call “home” you have found that home at Faith. I can share from my own experience; Faith is a place where friends truly do become family. Come and join us during the most exciting and explosive days of growth at Faith as we celebrate our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Ryan Johnston, Associate Pastor of Young Adults & Outreach

ryanj@myfaithbaptist.org

God called me and my wife, Debby, to Faith Baptist Church in 2003. We have one daughter named Kinsley, born the summer of 2007, and she an incredible blessing to our home. We moved to the Mid-South from Wayne, Nebraska, and although far from home, we have found a new home with the family of Faith Baptist Church. In the Young Adult Ministry we help people navigate life through their twenties and lead them to become lifelong committed laborers for Christ. In the Outreach Ministry we strive to reach our community with the love of Jesus Christ through weekly programs and many community-wide events. We believe that Faith is a unique church that truly exists to advance God’s kingdom, and we are very excited about the days ahead.

The Lord called me and my wife, Becca, to Faith last year, after servingin> the Altanta area for the last five years. We have two boys, Cade, born in August 2004, and Cole, born in March 2006. They add a lot of flavor to our home with their joy and humor. It has been an amazing journey that God has taken me and my family on to bring us to Faith. It has quickly become home away from home for my family. My passion for our Youth Ministry is to help students find Christ as Savior and guide them through spiritual lordshipby means of teaching and discipleship. Our programs range from weekly Bible study and discipleship, retreats, special conferences, camp, etc. I would love to invite you to be a part of what God is doing in and through our youth ministry, as well as our church.

I began serving at Faith in January 2009 to assist in Discipling and Equipping ministries. Originally hailing from Hoover, Alabama, I later lived in Dallas, Texas for five years where I attended school and married Allyson. We then moved to Cordova in 2005 where I taught high school for four years and began attending Mid-America Seminary. Like so many others, Allyson and I fell in love with Faith during our first visit and have seen God's love and grace working through the leadership and congregation each week. My desire is to know and teach the Scriptures that we might have a deep relationship with God and others, and a broad influence on our family, friends, and communities. Allyson and I have three dogs and are currently pursuing adoption.

I am an educator by profession and a Christian educator by passion.  The Lord called me to the full time position here at Faith five years ago.  Before that I served in the public school arena and part-time at Faith. Ministry here at Faith is an incredible journey.  Surrounded by an awesome army of volunteers, we have the joy of leading children to a personal knowledge of Jesus, teaching them to live for him and to share their faith with others.  We use a variety of creative children’s programs as the vehicles to carry boys and girls to the cross. My husband, Philip and I are the parents of four adult children and the Gram and Granddaddy to six wonderful grandchildren.

Rachel Walker - Children's Ministry Associate

rachelw@myfaithbaptist.org

“Welcome home” was the very first phrase I heard when I joined Faith in the fall of 2007.  Those were very comforting words for a brand new seminary student looking for a church home in a new city.  I quickly fell in love with the  mission and heartbeat of this church.  I joined the Faith staff in May of 2008 as the Children’s Ministry Associate.  Some of my responsibilities include serving as coordinator for Kidzone (3rd-5th) on Wednesday nights, M&M Munchies, recruiting volunteers, 3rd-5th grade Vertical Connection coordinator, and assistant director for Kids Camp and VBS.  I have a heart for both children and international missions.  My favorite part of my position is getting so see children  come to know Christ and then seeing them lead their friends to Him.  I’m originally from Wardell, Missouri. I’m currently working on a Masters in Missions at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

Vicki Purifoy, Director of Preschool Ministries

vickip@myfaithbaptist.org

After serving as the part time Preschool Director of Faith Baptist Church for 14 years, God has recently called me to serve in this capacity in a full time ministry position.  Prior to serving at faith, I was the Preschool Director at Bartlett Baptist Church. My husband Ronnie and I are the parents of three grown children Leigh, Russell and Nicholas.  God has blessed us as “Nana and Pops” to five wonderful grandchildren.

It is my privilege to share the love of Jesus with “His little people”.  I have the opportunity daily to encourage, pray for, and come alongside our young families.  I feel God has called me to be His hands and feet daily, teaching children about Him and His love through Bible stories, activities, prayer and interaction. It’s all about growing the Kingdom through the heart of a little child.
